asterdorf assistenz west – these are about 1000 employees *in 73 locations. Together we stand for empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as children and young people in Hamburg. Due to the diversity of our educational, nursing and commercial skills, we offer around 1,300 people outpatient assistance and special living forms – personalized and socially adapted to the needs of our clients. In our day works, around 300 clients work in office or garden care. We do what makes sense and strengthens education and participation. We're looking for you! For a strong and effective “WIR” and a modern assistance with heart and high professional expertise.

Very close to the Elbe and in the middle of a quiet green residential area is our residential house Bernadottestraße. People with assistance needs live here with and without children. We offer nine places for single people and eight places for families with integration services and SPFH services. The team is set up in a colourful manner with healers, educators and social workers who work in the layer model (breakfast, late and, if necessary, night readiness) and in flexible, non-layered models. During service planning, we ensure transparency, fairness and that personal needs are taken into account in the team.

Now we get bigger and look for the reinforcement of our team. Our new assistance offering with seven places on the Osdorfer Weg will be an outpatient setting of integration aid; looking, with a lot of self-responsibility, proximity and design playroom.

We understand ourselves as a real team, exchange regularly, support each other and are in close contact. The work is characterized by a lot of design space and at the same time there is the safety of a strong team.

Good work needs good accompaniment. Supervision is therefore an integral part of our team culture. We reflect together challenging situations, develop new perspectives and strengthen our backs with case reviews and collegial advice.

Your duties

• They accompany the clients and establish a daily structure with them.
• They support clients in building social networks in the social space.
• They support the achievement of the objectives agreed with the Authority.
• You create social history reports.
• You document your work done in the context of this documentation.
• They advise and support the application of social benefits, support to doctors, authorities and institutions.

Your profile

• You have a completed training as a curator in, educator in or have a comparable qualification with professional experience in integration aid (SGB IX)
• Joy of outpatiently oriented, looking work and desire to take responsibility
• Team spirit, you work independently, but you know that good solutions come together
• Communication strength and a safe, appraisal appearance
• Reflectivity and Openness for Supervision and Professional Exchange
• Flexibility for work in the shift system
• A resource-oriented, respectful attitude, humor and reliability
