Export Control Officer (m/f/d)

PROCITEC has been developing highly specialized software for radio and signal processing for over 25 years – made in Pforzheim, in use worldwide. And our company continues to grow strong: Over the past three years, the team has grown from about 60 to almost 90 employees – and we are already heading to the brand from 100. We are in an exciting phase: new products are created, new international markets are opened up. Our technologies are used in the defence environment and are therefore subject to export control. Together with our growth, this role is particularly varied and relevant to the success of the company. You will be part of a team of purchasing, logistics and administration with currently six employees and a team leader. As a seventh person in the team you report directly to her and work directly with the management, depending on the topic. You ensure that our international deliveries are handled in compliance with internal compliance requirements and corporate processes. Export control is a priority for us, and you represent these requirements sovereign to internal and external stakeholders. In doing so, you maintain legal developments and make sure that all imports and exports meet the current requirements. As foreign trade law and international agreements change regularly, you remain professionally at the ball – further training we expressly support and take place during working hours. Your core tasks include: Classification of goods and sanction lists and embargo checks Authorisation management including communication with the competent authorities Collection and evaluation of end-of-life documents and coordination with international customers Care and implementation of our internal export control and customs compliance rules handling of export and import operations including the corresponding applications

You work very accurately and structured and enjoy working in complex situations. In the field of import & export responsibility and making decisions is of course for you. You'll also bring: Business training with a focus on foreign trade or studies e.g. in International Business, BWL or Business Law (Quereinsteiger are also welcome with corresponding demonstrable knowledge) Very good English skills Knowledge of national and international export control law A structured, process-guided operation and great care in research and documentation If you have further trainings or certifications in the field of export control and customs, this would be an additional bonus.
