Your future job: We are looking for you as a software developer for product control (m/w/d) in Oberkochen.

Your tasks:

• implement software solutions according to the requirements and specifications of the projects
• Work closely with experienced team members to develop, implement and test high-quality code
• Design new software functions and improve existing functions to optimize performance, scalability and user-friendliness
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and support the team in the development and distribution of knowledge
• Work on troubleshooting, diagnosis and troubleshooting in existing software applications
• Keep and promote best practices for software development, coding and version control

Your profile:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Physics
• Funded programming knowledge in object-oriented and procedural programming (C, C++, Python) as well as knowledge in data analysis (e.g. Matlab, Python) and statistical processes (Six Sigma)
• Experience with Git-based code management/CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps of advantage)
• Deep knowledge of Linux and command line-based development as well as SQL databases
• Confidence with agile development methods and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
• Basic knowledge of optics and an affinity for embedded systems (robotics, mechatronics) and pronounced hands-on mentality
• A quick understanding and solution-oriented thinking
• Safe for negotiation in German and English
