Number: MER0003LTU The communication department of Mercedes-Benz Vans is responsible as part of the communication area of Mercedes-Benz Group AG for all VAN works, products and future technologies as well as for all business, brand and sustainability topics relating to the business field. We are the organizers of media events, central contact persons for journalists and inform our employees. With the successful application to this site, you will strengthen the “Product Communication” team, whose hands are the global external communication for all Mercedes-Benz Vans market-ready vehicles: the Camper Marco Polo, the V-Class and EQV, the Small Vans T-Class and EQT as well as (e)Sprinter, (e)Vito and (e)Citan. From your first internship week, we will take you fully into our work. You also take your own projects. These are your primary tasks: Support in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of international digital and physical, as well as hybrid press events. Cooperation with agencies, internal departments and external service providers Participation in the implementation of events for product launches as part of international press events, workshops, world premieres etc. Lead event-specific lists and documents Ggfls. Local support for events Responsible support and coordination of subprojects Support for accounting coordination and audit as a follow-up of an event This could be added to you: Working in creating press material and playing different external communication channels (focus: press communication and social media) Editorial preparation and writing of texts for internal channels, in particular the social intranet Support in editorial planning, maintenance of the international press distributor and dispatch of press information Support for the planning and procurement of press vehicles and for journalistic requests for press vehicles Support in the coordination of the global communication strategy of Mercedes-Benz Vans with international PR leaders in the markets Tracking and evaluating Press Reporting There is the possibility to sniff into the task set of neighboring teams and, for example, to gain experience in product communication or playing internal channels.

Course in Communications/Economics, PR, Journalism, Event Management, Business/Economics, Humanities/Social Sciences or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing, other languages of advantage Secure handling of MS Office and digital media Commitment, team skills, analytical thinking, strategic working, excellent communication and organizational skills, high level of self-employment and self-initiative Possible practical experience, valid driving licence of class B (car) Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share and offer from four months (preferably six months).
