IT/OT Engineer Network Technology ITIL – Energy Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Their task field includes the operational planning of complex IT/OT systems and networks for HGÜ, E-STATCOM and network booster systems in our transmission network. Your goal: the transparent and risk-based operation of the systems in our KRITIS-relevant DC systems. With your expertise in industrial networks and high-availability IT/OT systems, you define clear operational requirements for their technical architecture and bring them into ongoing large-scale projects. In close cooperation with suppliers, technical experts and operating personnel, you develop concepts and standards for safe and efficient plant operation. Together with relevant stakeholders, You establish central processes of IT/OT service management according to ITIL and are responsible for their implementation and further development – such as incident management and identity & access management. In coordination with various departments, you formulate requirements for an ITSM tool and accompany the construction of an integrated IT/OT operation.

Your engineering studies in electrical engineering, information technology or computer science with a focus on network technology or You have completed automation technology. You have well-founded expertise in the network engineering construction of industrial IT/OT systems and ideally bring deeper knowledge in building a service management in the IT/OT environment according to industrial frameworks such as ITIL v4. Personally, you will delight with a high level of learning, a pronounced analytical, systematic and process-oriented way of thinking and team player qualities to advance topics together. You can master the English language well in word and writing and have a class B licence.
