In the secondary network we are responsible for providing information technology connections for monitoring and controlling the Berlin power distribution network. For this purpose, we operate OT systems (operational technology) and continuously develop them with respect to resilience. Responsibility for operation, administration and continuous development of OT platforms and basic services (e.g. virtualization, server, storage, central infrastructure services). Planning, implementation and lifecycle management of platform components as well as ensuring stable and secure operation. Participation in standardization, automation and optimization of operating processes. Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, operating manuals and guidelines in the field of tasks. Implementation and monitoring of IT/OT security requirements and support in implementing technical and organisational security measures. Analysis and elimination of complex disorders as well as cooperation in the analysis of the causes and sustainable elimination of errors. Participation in the operational readiness service. Cooperation with project teams and coordination of external service providers in technical implementations. Active knowledge sharing and professional exchange in the team.

A successfully completed (professional) degree in computer science or a comparable relevant degree programme. Multiannual professional experience in the operation of complex IT or OT infrastructures, ideally in the KRITIS environment. Funded knowledge in the areas of server operation, virtualization, storage, backup, and central infrastructure services. Practical knowledge of automation (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Ansible). Understanding information security requirements and experience in implementing safety requirements and curing measures. Experience in the structured planning and implementation of technical projects and projects. Joy in cooperation across organisational and sectoral boundaries. Embossed communication, organization and problem solving skills. High self-initiative as well as a solution- and service-oriented operation.
