As Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist, you are part of our Global Customs & Trade Compliance Team. In this role, you support the implementation and continuous development of our global compliance program and ensure that all relevant customs and foreign trade regulations are complied with. Your tasks Ensuring smooth and efficient customs processes in compliance with applicable customs and foreign trade regulations Coordination of the classification process between engineering, supplier and customs agents Collection and verification of technical data for the tariff classification of parts, equipment and systems Maintenance and updating of tariff numbers in relevant systems Implementation of annual updates of newly published tariff data Support of Trade Compliance Manager and Global Customs Manager in Day Business Cooperation with internal interfaces and external partners Participation in smaller and medium-sized IT enhancement projects, e.g. ERP system IFS, trade compliance software and master data initiatives Support in continuous improvement of Customs & Trade Compliance processes
Your profile: 5–7 years of professional experience in trade compliance, customs regulations or import/export Qualification as Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Certified Export Specialist (CES) or comparable training Good understanding of international trade and foreign trade regulations Affinity for IT systems, ideally experience as a key user in ERP environments Experience in implementing external trade compliance or customs software Very good Microsoft Excel knowledge for data analysis and reporting flowing English knowledge; German knowledge is advantageous
