Coordinator (m/w/d) for the Hospice and Palliative Counselling Service

The Malteser Hospice and Trauerarbeit Berlin includes an outpatient hospice and palliative advisory service, a children's hospice and family support service, a Russian-language hospice service and a contact point for mourning people. Our service, which was founded in 1996, works with an interdisciplinary team of specialists in social work, nursing, psychooncology, systemic counseling and therapy, as well as with more than 200 qualified agents in the honorary office. We coordinate the accompaniment of ill people in their homes and in stationary facilities – starting from our locations in Lichtenberg and in the southern Tempelhof (Lichtenrade). In order to strengthen our team at the Berlin-Lichtenrade site, we are now looking for a coordination force (m/w/d) in the outpatient hospice and palliative advisory service – in part-time (20 hours/where), probably also in full-time as of April 2026. Advice on psychosocial relief and possibly Other services Coordination of the operations of volunteers Administrative tasks such as e.g. Documentation Networking and cooperation with other health and social institutions You design public relations as well as educational and information services related to death, death and grief You gain new volunteers, accompany their qualification and take care of their care and appreciation in the service

Study of social work or social education or a examinated nursing subject - with at least three years relevant professional experience Ideally completed courses for palliative care, coordination and leadership skills or the willingness to complete them You like to work in the team as well as independently, are committed and flexible (optional dates in the evening or weekend) Experience in cooperation with volunteers is advantageous A positive basic attitude towards the Christian values of the Malteser knowledge of Russian language, both written and oral, are welcome
