Technical Sales Manager (m/f/d)

Technical Sales & Customer Management Responsibility for the distribution of technically demanding system solutions Acquisition of new customers as well as expansion and maintenance of existing customer relationships Supporting customers in offshore industry, maritime research, authorities and defense Analysis of customer-specific requirements and development of accurate technical solutions Creation and negotiation of offers including technical specifications and commercial framework conditions Performance of presentations and product demonstrations – on site and remote Project management of customer projects from request to implementation Close cooperation with internal interfaces such as development, construction and project management Coordination of feasibility analyses and technical investigations Support for acceptance, commissioning and customer training Market developmentIdentification of new business potentials and market opportunities Company representation at trade fairs and industry events Observing market and competition developments and deriving recommendations for action

Qualifications Complete technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, marine engineering or mechatronics) or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience First experience in the technical distribution of investment goods in need of declaration, ideally in the maritime or offshore environment Expertise Finded technical understanding, preferably in the field of underwater technology systems (e.g. ROVs, AUVs, Sonartechnik or Underwater Sensors) Experience in project-based sales and in dealing with longer decision cycles Safe handling of technical specifications, documentation and relevant standards Personal strengths Embossed communication and presentation capabilities at different hierarchical levels Self-employed, structured and targeted High level of self-initiative as well as pronounced final strength Standing for regular national and international missions (approx. 20%) Languages German and English knowledge in word and writing Other foreign languages of advantage
