This makes this job interesting to me: As a central contact personin the system management, I am responsible for the project management, request definition, commissioning and the maintenance of the plants in operation. In doing so, I form the interface between the operating system management, departments within 50Hertz as well as externally. My tasks I accompany projects for HGÜ- und Stromrichteranlagen from the point of view of the system management, I integrate power converter systems into the system control system, I define and improve processes for commissioning and running operations, I maintain the system during operation from the point of view of the system management, I develop the network calculation and evaluate it, I assess the correctness of simulation results by analyzing network usage cases as well as faults in the transmission network, I translate identified development needs into suitable concepts for expanding existing operational planning and operational management concepts for HGÜ and FACTS, I rehearse these concepts independently and then rehearse them, I design specifications for control and control concepts, power-electronic means of operation to ensure safe system operation; I work in committees and R&D projects, in particular with a focus on operational and protection concepts for multi-terminal MRLs, I develop requirements for assistance systems within the framework of the “MCCS” control system project.

I have completed a Master's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Energy Technology or a comparable subject, I have well-founded knowledge in the field of power converters, in particular HGÜ, STATCOM and battery storage, I bring experience in the project work and support of HGÜ- and STATCOM plants, I work safely with network calculation programs like PSCAD, PowerFactory, PandaPower or Integral, I know myself with power converters based on MMCs (modular multipoint converters), I am familiar with the operating fields FACTS and HVDC, their mode of operation and their interaction with system and network management, I think conceptually and analytically, quickly capture complex facts and I like to work on new topics, I have fluent German knowledge (C1) and good English knowledge (B2) in word and writing. Additional knowledge (of advantage) I have basic knowledge of DC protection concepts with and without DCCB, I know operating management concepts for scaled HGÜ systems, I am with the economic, technical and legal framework the energy industry.
