From specification to tendering, awarding, quality assurance to logistics, distribution and processing, Bw Clothingsmanagement GmbH (BwBM) is responsible for the entire value chain of the Bundeswehr clothing – from shoes to helmet.

In this way, we dress up about 250,000 active soldier soldiers as well as reservoirs and civilian employees of the Bundeswehr.

We are looking for you in full time for our new logistics center in Walsrode as:

In Walsrode our new and state-of-the-art logistics center is being built. On an area of more than 50,000 m2, the two areas of responsibility of a clothing and processing centre are centralized. The business processes extend from receipt of goods, quality testing, storage, commissioning, goods exit and also include processing (purification and repair). For a highly efficient handling, a pocket sorter as well as an automatic cardboard storage are also put into operation in addition to a sliding gait system.

As a fixed employee (w/m/d) at Walsrode site, you can take truck rides for the HUB in Walsrode.

YEARS:

• They carry flexible driving operations in local transport by occasional individual journeys also nationwide.
• A 15-tonnes vehicle with a tandem trailer is available in the factory or long-distance traffic.
• You take over the independent loading and unloading of the trucks as part of your activity.
• Your area of responsibility includes the safe transport of goods incl. Ensuring cargo securing and testing of all relevant freight documents.
• They carry out vehicle inspections daily and report problems or damage to the site manager.
• At steering-free times and on request, you can support in the Walsrode clothing centre in the handling warehouse (loading and unloading activities/relocation in the HUB).

IHR PROFIL:

• Complete training as a professional driver*in or in the field of warehouse logistics
• Multiannual experience in a comparable position
• Valid license CE with proof of the legally prescribed training modules according to BKrFQG
• readiness to travel within Germany by Mo-Fr
• Customer-oriented thinking and acting in an independent way as well as on-time and careful working
