Service Technician Electrical Engineering - DC (m/w/d)

I want technology that is under tension? At 50Hertz, I'm waiting for DC and compensation systems – throughout Germany, with the latest measurement technology and a lot of responsibility.

This makes the job interesting for me: I prepare and realize Maintenance and maintenance work in the field of electrical engineering Network compensation systems. The task spectrum includes measuring/testing and cleaning work on DC systems (HGÜ) and compensation systems (Statcom, MSCDN, rotating phase shifter). I am in the entire network area the 50Hertz on the way and introduce my expertise wherever it is is urgently needed. How to minimise downtime and maximize plant availability. Activity in network operation opens up the opportunity to meet the challenges 50Hertz in the course of the energy transition places continuous growth.

My tasks

· Maintenance, diagnosis and maintenance of DC and compensation systems, · Exchange and repair of components such as power electronics, motors, sensors/actuators within the framework of their own qualifications and technical permissions, · Preparation of maintenance measures, evaluation of measurement results and derivation of measures; · Regular service trips partly with overnight stays throughout 50Hertz network area is a central part of the activity, · Priority tasks depending on personal experience: e.g. technical guidance of colleagues / coordination of Service partners / further development of measurement technology tools/ IT tools, · Standby service: support for remote disturbances, with persistent errors also on site, possibly with the manufacturer.

My skills

· Complete vocational training / master/technical training in electrical engineering/control/control/control technology or mechatronics; or comparable qualification, · Multiannual experience in the maintenance sector systems/systems, · Interest in travel activities in the 50Hertz network area (ostdeutsche Germany and Hamburg), · driving licence min. Class B, · Very good German (C1) and good English (B1-B2).

No need, but of advantage

· Experience in dealing with the common tools (measurement and Test technology for electr. Measurements, working platforms, load-receiving means etc.), · (First) Knowledge of DC systems / compensation systems / power plant-related secondary systems.
