As a Purchasing & Lifecycle Management VAN, you work at the interface between purchasing, development, cost planning, production and project management and gain insights into the entire vehicle life cycle of the Mercedes-Benz Vans. You support future and ongoing series projects – from strategy and supplier nomination to tenders, awards, change management to the expiry phase. Your tasks include coordination of cross-sector activities, participation in the purchasing strategy, and the development of processes and tools for cooperation with internal partners and suppliers. You ensure timely and cost-efficient supplier nomination and change, identify risks and synergies, support localisation and promote knowledge transfer between global production sites, especially in China.

An above-average degree (Master, MBA or PhD) in engineering, business or a comparable degree course Maximum 3 years of professional experience (outside the course) At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work & travel) Impressed affinity for digital technologies and enthusiasm for future trends We appreciate applicants with a strong social sense of responsibility Very good English knowledge (C1) and German knowledge (B2) You are motivated to actively shape the transformation at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility Strong interpersonal and communicative skills as well as pronounced analytical skills You have strong team skills and motivate others to achieve their goals We look forward to your online application.
