Senior Procurement Manager (m/f/d) Data Center Construction

POR activities is expanding its data center and is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy for large data center construction projects. The role is responsible for procurement governance, package strategy, long-lead equipment, subcontracting tendering, supplier risk, commercial alignment, and support to project delivery. Leadership of project procurement strategy and procurement governance Development of the package procurement plan with commercial, technical, planning and project teams Management of procurement for major subcontract packages and long-lead equipment Leadership of supplier engagement, tender strategy, negotiation, and recommendation for award Coordination of procurement risk management for programme-critical packages Management of procurement reporting, approval routes, tender audit trail, and supplier performance monitoring Collaboration with Legal and Commercial Teams on terms, risk allocation, and contract conditions Support of value engineering, alternative sourcing, and suppliers Escalation of procurement issues affecting cost, schedule, quality, commissioning, or handover Mentoring of Procurement Managers, Buyers, and Procurement Specialists

Degree in procurement, supply chain, commercial management, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline Minimum 10 years' procurement experience in construction or engineering projects Experience in data center, mission-critical, industrial, energy, or MEP-heavy projects strongly preferred Strong knowledge of subcontract procurement, long-lead equipment, supplier risk, and negotiation Experience with MEP packages search as switchgear, UPS, generators, chillers, transformers, or BMS desirable Good commercial awareness and understanding of contract risk CIPS or equivalent qualification fluency in English; German or Polish language skills
