Vocational training is carried out at a water management office (e.g. in Hof or Kronach). After passing the qualification examination, the takeover into an official's relationship to sample with entry into the grade A 10 is provided in the event of the observance of the legislation in force. In order to obtain sufficient practical experience for the activities of the government, an application of up to 3 years at an Upper Franconian water management office was initially envisaged after the completion of the preparatory service.
