Our customer is a Hamburg-based engineering firm and one of the world's leading suppliers of Silo technologies and pneumatic conveyor systems for the cement, lime and gypsum industry as well as for the mineral industry.

We are looking for an employee for the technical buyer (m/w/d)

Responsible for the procurement of materials, equipment and services Own implementation of tendering and associated negotiation with national and international suppliers Construction and Management of Supply Chain Relations Triggering orders in terms of cost-effectiveness, schedule and availability Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with quality standards Tracking of order confirmations and monitoring of delivery dates and checking of invoices Claim management

Complete technical training with purchase. Knowledge, preferably further training for technicians in machinery and plant engineering Ideally multi-year experience in technical purchasing with international supplier master files Sovereign appearance, negotiation skills and readiness to travel Teamability and reliability with pronounced hands-on mentality Very good English knowledge of word and writing, French knowledge desirable Safe handling of MS Office and common ERP systems (SAP, Sage 100)
