Mineral Processing Engineer (m/f/d)

Development of process and preparation engineering plant concepts for new installations, modernizations and performance enhancements Defining and evaluating plant components for the manufacturing process of industrial minerals Calculation of energy and mass balances, mass flows and further process data of the main plant parts carrying out and evaluating experiments on process analysis within the framework of plant audits and R&D projects Optimization of existing processing and finishing plants with regard to capacity, product quality and operating costs Planning and supervision of physical investigations of raw materials and assessment of their material properties in the process Examination of relevant contractual conditions and definition of procedural warranty requirements Commissioning and monitoring of plants, machines and components at international locations Responsible and targeted processing of development topics, studies and concepts as well as evaluation of new technologies, processes and procedures Participation in the implementation of investment projects as engineering support in all phases of the project Preparation of procedural design programs and maintenance of corresponding software tools Support of works in procedural issues Accompanying electrical engineering with start-up and departure instructions

Successfully completed study of mining or raw materials sciences with the focus on processing technology Multiannual professional experience in large-scale plant engineering with focus on process development, management and optimization of complex plants In-depth knowledge of the preparation and refinement of mineral raw materials and the techniques used for this purpose readiness to travel, even for longer stays (min. 30% of the total working time) Driving licence class B mandatory German and English knowledge in word and writing, further language skills desirable Safe handling of MS Office programs
