Head of Mechanical Engineering Department / MTA (m/f/d)

In this key position, you take responsibility for the central machine engineering department at the headquarters and for the regional workshops at several locations. In total you lead approx. 30 employees and report directly to the management. In detail, the following tasks include: Total responsibility for special machinery, equipment and commercial vehicles at all locations Guided tour of central administration incl. Cost center, investment and machine budget planning Contract negotiations and procurement of construction machinery and construction equipment Continuous analysis and control of costs, performance and results Development of multi-site procurement and deployment strategies Investment planning in close coordination with management Ensuring legal and internal regulations, including maintenance Organisation of occupational safety and accident prevention Ensuring quality standards Development of technical solutions and new processes for plants and special machinery

With your hands-on mentality and at the same time strategic vision, you shape change and ensure smooth processes. Ideally you have: Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering or engineering Multiannual experience as Head or Deputy Head of an MTA Very good knowledge in the construction machinery market and in construction machinery engineering Impressed decision-making strength and entrepreneurial vision Analytical, structured thinking as well as proximity to the operating business Openness for technological developments in the construction machinery sector IT affinity and safe handling of MS Office Personal characteristics: self-employment, sense of responsibility, self-initiative, negotiation skills, communication strength and cooperative enforcement
