This makes this job interesting to me: 50Hertz is one of the four transmission system operators in Germany and ensures safe current transport at maximum voltage level. Modern energy systems such as HGÜ systems and network control technology are integrated. In this position, the responsibility lies for the testing and quality assurance of protection and control systems – directly on site in transformer stations throughout the network area. My tasks: Weekly, multi-day service trips with overnight stays throughout the 50Hertz network are a central part of the activity, on-site tests in protection and control technology, including interfaces to communications technology and network control systems, to ensure the smooth functioning of the system, performing maintenance and commissioning tests as well as factory function tests for manufacturers; working on HGÜ systems, network control systems and other innovative energy systems, Documentation & coordination: preparation of test documentation and updating of project documentation; Pre- and post-processing of the tests flexibly from home or at one of our locations.

completed master / technician training or study of electrical engineering or comparable qualification, experience in the field of protection or control technology in high-voltage technology, Safe handling of test software, interface tags and specific device software, knowledge of commissioning, serial protocols and IT networks, self-responsible, practice-oriented mode of operation, willingness to participate independently in new topics (e.g. through self-study or practical testing), understanding of IT security and safe handling of MS Office & SAP PM, Driving permit (car) and high travel readiness throughout the 50Hertz network area, Very good German (C1) and good English (at least B2).
