Number: MER00043MW We develop the main drive for future Mercedes-Benz vehicles – the eATS 2.0 from the fully electric CLA, GLC and upcoming vehicles. Your job is to support the project management and specifications for the Mercedes-Benz electric drive. As part of our team, you work independently on current issues and projects in the electrified Powertrain, supporting the project management and development engineers in their tasks. You organize the specification and structuring and tune content with a variety of experts. You are intensively dealing with the electrical and mechanical sizes of the electric drive and delivering a measurable contribution to the sustainability goal of Mercedes-Benz. We offer you the opportunity to get deep insights into the development of electric drives and to experience the everyday life of a development engineer closely. You will do the following tasks: Independent coordination of open technical issues with all colleagues and suppliers involved in the development process Preparation, organisation and implementation of expert interviews and project meetings structuring and creation of load book content Presentation and documentation of status and progress in the specifications Documentation of test results and status tracking of the validation phase Creation and preparation of meaningful decision documents and schedules What we also offer: Very attractive remuneration Flexible working time of 35 h per week Exciting task field with many possibilities of deepening Possibility of accommodation in a residential home (with availability and proportional costs) The activity can start from October 2026.

Degree course in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or a comparable degree course Complete basic study or Bachelor desirable Safe handling of MS Office (in particular PowerPoint and Excel), MATLAB basic knowledge is advantageous Knowledge and systemic overall understanding of electrical drive components such as electric motor and power electronics Knowledge of gear components Analytical and innovative thinking Motivation to cross-disciplinary technical topics Responsibility awareness as well as outcome and target orientation Embossed team skills and openness Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing driving licence class B Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
