Our customers have high expectations of the safety of today's and future Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. For over 55 years, accident research has systematically investigated road accidents involving vehicles from Mercedes-Benz AG (Cars, Vans). As part of these analyses, we gain important additional insights that we can control in the development process, among other things, by creating safety requirements. Innovations or trends of the future can then also be recognized from accident data and/or corresponding systems/components can be evaluated. Your tasks include: Investigation of vehicle accidents and analysis of vehicles and their documentation Introduction to the basics of accident reconstruction Search for accidents involving Mercedes-Benz according to fixed criteria Working with the development and evaluation of national and international accident data Support within the development process The place must be occupied from 15.09.2026.

Degree course: vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Coordination and organizational talent, communication and team skills and the ability to work independently and flexibly Class B licence is required First experience in vehicle safety or accident analysis is desirable Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
