You take over the creation of cost analyses on components and subsystems to identify realistic market prices and cost-cutting potentials. You are responsible for carrying out cost structure analyses including material, production and logistics costs. You analyze offers and supplier prices to verify price details and are responsible for the development and maintenance of costing models and tools to support the purchasing team. The cooperation with internal departments such as purchasing, controlling and manufacturing to optimize the procurement strategy completes your task area.

You have a degree in engineering, economics or a comparable qualification and have several years of experience in cost calculation, ideally in purchasing or controlling. You have a sound knowledge of the analysis of production processes and their cost structures. You are safe in handling costing tools (e.g. Excel, ERP systems) and have ideally already experience with specialized tools such as TCPCM, costdata, Should-Costing etc. Analytical thinking, detail accuracy and a structured working method as well as communication strength and team capacity complete your profile.
