Number: MER00043EX Do you want to dive into the multifaceted world of personal themes? Then apply for a six-month internship. Within the global corporate communication of Mercedes-Benz AG, the team of personal communication is responsible for global communication with economic, regional, daily and specialist media and for internal communication of personnel topics to the entire workforce. The range of topics ranges from personality stories to further education and training to classic business-relevant personnel topics. Get to know the internal communication and the everyday life of a press spokesperson, use the opportunity to get an insight into the personal themes of an international company and to actively shape communication. Your tasks include: Create and edit articles for the social intranet as well as press information and texts for external communication

Conducting interviews on subjects from the personnel sector

Support in the preparation and implementation of internal events and press appointments

Support for internal enquiries, press requests and projects

Create question and answer catalogs (Q&As), briefings, presentations etc.

Working with cross-media communication campaigns and actions for the workforce

Working with the creation of communication concepts and the development of new communication formats

Research and preparation of figures, data and facts (Corporate Data)

Collecting and preparing internal posts, press clippings and documentation

The activity can begin from August 2026.

Course: Communication Science, Humanities or Social Sciences, Journalism, BWL/VWL or a comparable degree course

First practical experience in journalism or communication is advantageous

Knowledge of German and English in Word and Writing

IT knowledge: Secure handling of MS-Office and common AI applications

Personal competencies: creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm, flexibility and communication skills, personal commitment, organizational talent, reliability

Other: Joy in creating texts, affinity and experience in dealing with social media
