The Clinic for Surgery at the Medical University of Lausitz - Carl Thiem covers the entire spectrum of modern surgery - from general and visceral surgery to vascular and thorax surgery to child and septic surgery. Particular focus is on interdisciplinary tumor surgery, minimally invasive procedures and complex procedures such as multivisceral resections and HIPEC. As a partner of several certified centers, we work closely with other departments to ensure optimal and holistic patient care. Surgical interventions: performing the entire spectrum of thorax surgery, including minimally invasive procedures. Treatment concepts: Development and implementation of interdisciplinary treatment approaches in close cooperation with pneumology, oncology and radiology. Patient care: Stationary and outpatient care of thorax-surgical patients as part of our MVZ/Klinikverbund. Aftercare: Long-term care and control after surgical interventions as well as participation in tumor care programs. Ready to call: participation in the call and standby service to ensure continuous supply. Training & Continuing Education: Participation in the training of assistant physicians as well as the possibility of their own professional development. Your profile Specialist medical certificate: completed further training as a specialist in thorax surgery. Expertise: Experience in the entire spectrum of thorax surgery, especially in minimally invasive and oncological procedures. Patient orientation: Embossed empathy, sense of responsibility and communication strength. Team skills: Joy of interdisciplinary cooperation with all relevant disciplines.
