Tasks, competences and responsibility

• Conducting MAG welding work on pipelines and containers according to the drawing
• Repair and repair welding on existing systems and components
• Preparation of welding seams (fibers, stitching, grinding)
• Visual inspection and quality control of the welded seams
• Compliance with applicable standards (e.g. DIN EN ISO 15614, DIN EN ISO 9606)
• Compliance with work safety and quality requirements on site

Technical requirements

• Care and precision, especially in the case of repair welding at existing systems under time pressure
• Loadability (physical work, heat impact, possibly restricted working conditions during repairs)
• Team skills in interaction with other structures (assembly, insulation, quality assurance)
• Basic knowledge German (orally/written) for safety instructions, level A2/B1 sufficient
• Mobility – own car of advantage, as locations of use in the room Siegen can vary
• Healthy suitability for welding work, readiness for G tests

• High care and precision, especially in repair welding at existing plants, where faults can cause immediate follow-up costs
• Self-responsible work, even under time pressure in acute repair operations
• Loadability – physically demanding activity with heat action, partly confined working conditions (e.g. in pipeline systems or containers)
• Flexibility and rapid understanding, as repair welding often takes place in the short term and without complete pre-planning Team skills and communication
• Teamability in cooperation with assembly, insulation and quality assurance on site
• Basic knowledge German (orally/written) for understanding safety instructions, technical drawings and isometries – level A2/B1 sufficient
• readiness to reliably implement instructions from construction managers/pre-workers even at changing locations Reliability & flexibility
• punctuality and time accuracy, especially for repairs with tight time windows
• Mobility – own car required, as revenues in space can take place Siegen at changing customer locations
• Ready for short-term use (repair welding is often not planned in the long term)
