For our Department of Trade & Supply Management we are looking for a:n balance sheet manager:in electricity / gas / production in permanent employment in full time (part time possible).

Responsibility for the balance sheet management of electricity, gas including forecasting, creation of spot bids and support in intraday trading Analysis and optimization of consumption and production data as well as implementation of regulatory requirements (MaBiS / GaBi Gas) Processing of data exchange with market partners:internal and external interfaces Control, monitoring and documentation of processes as well as acquisition of clearing electricity and gas and cooperation with network operators Creation of reports, evaluations and KPIs for management and internal bodies, including proper documentation for regulatory authorities Continuous improvement of the processes and systems within the framework of a CRP and maintenance of relevant certificate registers (e.g. BEHG, HKN, UBA, dena)

Completed studies (Bachelor) in energy, economics, engineering, computer science or comparable discipline or equivalent knowledge and skills Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Knowledge of the energy-economic market processes (e.g. MaBiS, GaBi, GPKE, GeLi) and regulatory requirements (e.g. EnWG, StromNZV, GasNZV) Knowledge of process design and optimization, especially in the introduction of automated solutions Technical understanding in the field of energy-economic topics (renewable energies, prosumers etc.) Safe handling of energy-efficient IT systems (e.g. forecasting software, balance sheet management tools, billing systems) Knowledge of data analysis and data management (e.g. SQL, Excel, Power BI or comparable tools) Experience in the development and implementation of automated processes (e.g. workflow automation, interface management) Multiannual experience in energy management, preferably in balance sheet management Analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented way of working High communication and coordination capabilities for coordination with internal and external partners: Own initiative and willingness to innovation, especially in the further development and automation of processes Responsibility and accuracy, especially in compliance with regulatory requirements
