Number: MER00040R0 The “Passive Security” department is an integral part of the Mercedes-Benz car development in Sindelfingen. The Team Strategy, Innovation and Requirement Management Integrale Security coordinates strategic topics for the safety department and is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and presenting new requirements for the global safety ratings and for presenting changes in the organisation and for demonstrating action needs. The team also supports the planning, preparation and organisation of rating tests that take place worldwide in markets. The effects of changed rating requirements are prepared for the departments and management and made accessible in documentation systems. Necessary strategic decisions are prepared and presented in decision-making bodies. Our team also focuses on the further development, future goals and interests of vehicle safety and related innovation developments. New technical concepts and solutions for future safety concepts and components are analyzed, developed and developed as standard until market launch. Our neighboring teams and areas include vehicle safety development with vehicle crash tests, the development of safety components and systems (airbag and belt systems, safety sensors and PRE-SAFE) as well as accident research. Support in the organisation of visits to international rating authorities at the Sindelfingen site

The activity can begin from May 2026.

Continuous studies in engineering (e.g. vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering), industrial engineering or comparable courses

Secure handling of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

Knowledge in handling AI tools

Structured and independent operation and reliability

Analytical thinking

High motivation, team skills and communication strength

German and very good English knowledge in word and writing

German driving licence with class B should be available
