Hardware developer for communication systems (m/f/d)

Development of analog and digital hardware components for defense communications systems and design and development of electronic circuits (analogous design, integration of digital components) Selection and evaluation of electronic components with regard to functionality, availability, risk of obsolescence, reliability, costs and feasibility Design of complex flat components (multilayer PCBs for SMD and THT equipment) taking into account signal integrity, EMC, thermal requirements and manufacturing and testing aspects Support in commissioning, risk assessment, testing and verification of electronic assemblies and technical coordination with adjacent specialist areas (project management, design, software development, quality assurance, production) Creation of technical documentation and test documents in the context of an ISO 9001-compliant development process

Complete study of electrical engineering with a focus on communication technology or comparable qualification as well as several years of experience in the hardware development of electronic devices and systems (analogous and digital circuit technology, audio/message technology, FPGA and IC-based hardware) In-depth expertise in the PCB design of complex multilayer printed circuit boards (buried/blind vias, EMC-compliant design, signal integrity) and sound know-how in handling development and CAD tools for simulation, schematic and PCB design (e.g. Altium Designer); Experience with environmental and qualification tests, knowledge in FPGA development or embedded systems desirable Knowledge of industrial development processes according to V-model and ISO 9001 as well as experience in marine/military communication Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing, structured and analytical methods, high technical understanding, problem solving competence, team skills, interdisciplinary communication strength, independent working methods, sense of responsibility and quality and reliability, especially in the industrial and maritime environment Standing for occasional national and international missions
