The areas “Project Management of Electric Drivetrain Large Cars” and “Digital Drive Development & Simulation c-/e-Drive” are concerned with the design of electric drive systems and the digitization of development processes. In the design of the e-Drive overall system, sales requirements, customer, continuous data and other data sources as well as different simulation and development methods are used. Within the framework of the written work, an overview of the customer's requirements over the entire design range is to be created using different data sources and existing specification gaps are to be identified. For this purpose, it is first necessary to check the available data sources on their data quality in order to define customer groups and usable characteristics & features in the further procedure and to be able to describe the behavior of customer clusters. The work is accompanied by a literature research for different AI approaches, which are intended to be used for the topic. The following tasks are to be processed with the example of a vehicle series: Literature research on AI approaches

Analysis of existing data sources to be able to evaluate the requirements from the system load booklet data-based

Checking the data quality of the available data and showing specification gaps

Definition of criteria for customer clusters based on AI approach for a field data-based interpretation

Development of new characteristics, characteristics, data sources and methods to close gaps in the request catalogue

First results from customer cluster analysis, comparison with current design and definition of further steps

The internship can start from October 2025.
