Number: MER0003YKT We are looking for a doctoral student as part of the initiative More Together in the team GCSP/PL Industrial Protection and Policy Management under the direction of Dr. Corinna Welser at the Mercedes-Benz location Germersheim. The initiative of the company's health management is aimed at the employees of the German Mercedes-Benz logistics sites and has set itself the goal of improving the well-being, commitment and presence of employees. The prerequisite is an above-average university degree (Master) and the motivation and passion to advance the future of one of the most successful automotive companies in the world.

Your tasks: Scientific accompaniment of an initiative focusing on “work protection, health, employee wellbeing, commitment and ill-being” in the logistics environment

Establishment and further development of a key figures cockpit for systematic collection, visualization and analysis of relevant data

Data Literacy (data literacy) on the development of sound decision bases

deriving practical recommendations for action to improve well-being, commitment and attendance

The activity can begin from April 2026. Adjustment requirement is the support of the doctoral project by a university lecturer. The selection of a corresponding person is the responsibility of the doctoral student.

Very well completed master's degree in psychology, economic psychology, health management, economics, sociology, data science, statistics or a comparable subject area

Safe handling of MS Office

Strong interest in personal research and quantitative analysis methods

First practical experience in HR, Analytics People or empirical research

Very good knowledge of statistical data analysis and ideally experience with analysis tools (e.g. Power BI)

High level of self-responsibility, target orientation and scientific curiosity

Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills

Very good communication skills as well as the ability to present complex facts in a comprehensible way

Team skills and joy in working in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment
