Then you will become part of our global team as a software developer (w/m/d) image processing, research & development. Choose the best place for your work - within this point, it is possible to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the working time. More flexibility? Mobile work from abroad is possible under certain conditions and in selected countries for up to 30 days a year.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• They implement state-of-the-art image processing algorithms to advance medical imaging and image-based therapies in interventional radiology. They are responsible for the efficient implementation of image processing algorithms as well as for the execution of detailed analyses and optimizations and their use on GPU and CPU architectures. In your role, you are responsible for the entire development cycle – starting with sound software design, precise product implementation and quality assurance, and seamless system integration. In addition, drive our DevOps processes actively and ensure a stable and efficient software operation. They work in an agile, cross-functional and international development team and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders from research & development, product management, innovation and user experience.

Your qualifications and experience:

• You have successfully completed a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering.- They have several years of professional experience as a software developer, ideally in the field of image processing. They have profound knowledge of software development for real-time systems and are familiar with the development of high-quality product code in C++. They have extensive knowledge of Python programming. Your capabilities in CUDA and OpenMP allow you to efficiently implement algorithms. Ideally, you have a sound understanding of modern graphics pipelines as well as practical experience in implementing shakers using volcano or Direct3D.- A detectable professional experience in healthcare and medical image processing or in a comparable regulated environment is advantageous.

• Due to your high level of learning, you are motivated to continuously acquire new skills and develop. They have a positive attitude towards team-oriented work in a functional, agile environment and actively contribute to the extraordinary team spirit. Intercultural experience in cooperation with international teams is of advantage.- They have distinct organizational skills, work structured and methodically with a logical approach to problem solutions, master good time management, can well prioritize tasks, set high personal quality standards and are result-oriented. You have excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English and create high-quality visual representations of your results. Good knowledge of German is of advantage.- We learn with passion – you always remain informed about current trends and potentials of medical image processing and continuously question our status quo.
