Together with the ECB and the BaFin, the Deutsche Bundesbank continuously checks the credit institutions in Germany and contributes to the further development and implementation of bank supervision regulations. In addition, it regularly analyses and assesses the risk situation in the German banking system on the basis of information from banking supervisory reporting. In a highly qualified team, you will help to operate and develop the Knowledgebase data hub using agile methods. Their focus is on knowledge management as well as the technical query of data using SQL and other programming languages. Together with the colleagues of the data hub and other stakeholders, you ensure that all data and information required for efficient and effective banking and financial supervision are easily usable.

Bachelor or equivalent degree in a field relevant to the position (e.g. Data Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics) Good knowledge of relational databases (in particular Oracle) and experience in creating challenging database queries in SQL Programming skills in Python, R or VBA Good knowledge of banking supervision and regulation; in particular on national and European banking supervisory reporting Experience in working with supervisory reporting data Experiences in IT-related project work or knowledge of agile methods are of advantage Ability to analyze, evaluate and concise representation of complex facts independent and at the same time team-oriented mode of operation, safe occurrence Ability to achieve high-quality and timely work results even under time pressure Very good knowledge of German and English
