Hagenuk Marinekommunikation GmbH (HMK) based in Flintbek near Kiel is a leading manufacturer of sophisticated, individual and turnkey internal/external communication systems (ICS) for marine vessels and is also known as an important supplier for marine and ground air applications. HMK, which can look back on a long tradition in the field of global communication from birth to today, produces and supplies radio communication systems for marines all over the world. The broadly acquired knowledge focuses on high-tech products, engineering skills and system know-how.

You assume the overall responsibility for the planning of the system integration of our maritime communication solutions. Develop detailed integration concepts and define the required test scenarios for verifying system functionality and reliability (usually in the PDR to FAT phase). You create and coordinate comprehensive test plans for the integration and verification of systems, both in the laboratory and under real conditions of use. You evaluate the results of the integration tests and analyze the system performance to ensure that all requirements and specifications are met. Based on these evaluations, you identify optimization needs and initiate improvement measures. You coordinate the test performance with internal teams and external partners and ensure that all tests are carried out in accordance with the defined processes and timetables. You document the test processes and results and create meaningful reports that serve as a basis for decision-making as well as for the further development of the system. You continuously develop new approaches and strategies to improve testing and integration processes and thus contribute to increasing quality and efficiency. You are the central contact for all relevant stakeholders, including development teams, project management and quality assurance, and ensure that all requirements for system integration and testing are clearly defined and implemented.

You have completed their studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, physics or comparable. You can present several years of experience in the planning and coordination of system integrations and tests, ideally in the field of maritime communication technology. Knowledge of methods and processes of the Engineering system is desirable (e.g. Certified Systems Engineer Level C), as well as knowledge of methods of Requirement Engineering (e.g. IREB Foundation Level). We anticipate knowledge in the creation of integration and test strategies as well as the analysis of test results. You already have experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams and cooperating with external partners. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing and pronounced skills in the documentation and preparation of meaningful test reports were also ahead. Requirement management with IBM DOORS (Classic) is not a foreign word for you and you are able to successfully apply the Office tools Word, Excel, Visio, Project. You are open-minded, communicative and curious. You dominate the balance between the search for the technically optimal and economically sensible solution path.
