On behalf of our client, HAPEKO is looking for an experienced dispatcher / forwarding merchant (m/w/d) for truck transports in an indefinite fixed position. Our client is an economically successful and internationally established industrial company. A high transport volume, Europe-wide transport and cooperation with numerous freight forwarders ensure a demanding and varied area of responsibility. The special thing about the position: you do not simply take over the next classical dispatcher. In addition to the operational cargo space procurement, your task is to develop increasingly towards freight management, freight purchase and long-term transport partnerships. For experienced dispatchers from a forwarding, this offers the attractive opportunity to switch to the loader side without losing the reference to the operating transport business.

Independent procurement and planning of cargo hold for national and international truck transport Control and support of freight forwarders and carriers Ensuring reliable and timely transport processing Collection, assessment and negotiation of freight rates and transport conditions Solution-oriented control of short-term capacity bottlenecks and operational challenges Analysis of transport costs and identification of optimization potentials Cooperation in freight purchase and tenders Building and developing long-term partnerships with transport service providers Participation in the digitization and automation of existing transport processes Step by step further development from operative disposition to a more structured forwarding and partner management

Completed commercial training, ideally in the supply or logistics environment, or a comparable qualification Multiannual practical experience in truck disposition Good knowledge of the transport and transport market Experience in handling freight forwarders, carriers and/or subcontractors Understanding freight rates, pricing and transport costs Safe handling of ERP, TMS or comparable digital logistics systems Good knowledge of English for international cooperation Analytical understanding and joy in making decisions increasingly based on numbers and data Self-employed, solution-oriented and resilient operation Communication strength and negotiation skills
