Senior Physician at the Clinic for Trauma Surgery, Orthopaedics and Spinal Surgery (m/f/d)

To strengthen our dedicated team in the Orthopaedics Clinic, Trauma Surgery and Spine Surgery, we are looking for a full-time doctor (m/w/d) at the next possible time! The Bielefeld Franziskus Hospital is one of five hospitals of the Catholic Hospital Ostwestfalen gGmbH. Every year, around 13,000 stationary and 31,000 outpatient patients are supplied in the ten specialist clinics and the centres (endoprosthetic center and oncological center with breast cancer center, colon cancer center, prostate cancer center). The entire hospital is certified annually in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. The D-Arzt procedure is approved. The spectrum includes trauma surgery and orthopaedics with special emphasis in general trauma surgery, including age traumatology, spine surgery and endoprosthetics. Traumatologically all common procedures are applied. The spectrum of spinal surgery includes the care of traumatological injuries as well as degenerative and tumorous changes. The endoprosthetic center is certified according to ClarCert. Another focus is the age traumatology, which we have further developed last year together with the Geriatrie Clinic and certified to the age traumatological centre.

As Senior Consultant (m/w/d) you take responsibility in the medical care of our patients and actively contribute to the further development of the department. You carry out complex surgical procedures in accident surgery, orthopaedics and spinal surgery independently. You serve the patients both before and after surgery and provide comprehensive medical care. Senior Consultant (m/w/d) and Senior Consultant (m/w/d), are involved in the organization of everyday clinical practice and are involved in the training of young doctors. In addition, you will participate in in interdisciplinary case meetings and in the development of innovative treatment concepts. You actively participate in visits, tumour conferences and internal case meetings and are responsible for quality assurance, medical documentation and compliance with safety standards. You regularly participate in the call and standby service to ensure continuous patient care. You communicate sensitively with patients and relatives and contribute to a trusted doctor-patient relationship.

We wish you a completed medical certificate for orthopaedics and trauma surgery and sound operational experience. The additional name ''special accident surgery''' is desirable, but no condition.
