As an IT Service Manager Media Systems, you are part of a team consisting of highly qualified technical and editorial system specialists. Our task is to support the editors in production. We provide the necessary technical services, workflows and systems with the highest availability and continuously adapt them to the requirements of the editors.

you take responsibility for the implementation, operation and continuous optimization of digital asset management systems (photo, audio, video), editorial systems and media workflows for our editors ensure high availability and reliability of the systems so that editorial work processes work smoothly you work closely with internal specialist departments, IT operations and external service providers to ensure efficient and stable processes you analyze technical problems and fix them quickly and reliably you actively contribute to innovation and change processes and shape the further development of our editorial production infrastructure you are responsible for the application management and the 2nd level operation of the asset management systems and assists in the failure of systems

you have a training/studies in the field of media technology, computer science or a comparable field and brings professional experience from a similar position with you have experience dealing with the Unix and Windows operating system as an administrator you are an experienced AWS cloud administrator focusing on operation and support of applications, sound understanding of cloud-based concepts and safe handling of central AWS services first experiences with DAM systems such as FotoWare and Mimir are desirable with your analytical skills and experience in optimizing workflows, you recognize potentials of efficiency enhancement conceptual thinking, a high degree of self-initiative, quality awareness and willingness to use stand out you convince by communication and team skills, as well as customer orientation you have very good knowledge of German and English (min. C1)
