For the paediatric haemato-oncological ambulance and day clinic in the Centre for Children and Youth Medicine, we are looking for a full-time nursing expert (m/w/d) in full time (38,5 hours/week) or part-time indefinite

What are you doing in your job? We serve as a team of health and child care professionals, in close cooperation with our senior, specialist and assistant physicians, the psychosocial service and the study documentation children and young people who suffer from an oncological or haematological disease. Our patients are also provided in the daily clinical and outpatient framework, so that they can spend a lot of time during therapy, together with their families at home. The entire team is at the side of the children, young people and relatives in all situations and also in concerns and fears.

How would you describe your station? Our ambulance and day clinic consists of 4 study rooms and 4 day clinic rooms with a total of 7 seats. In the daily clinic, the small and large patients are supplied and monitored for several hours with various medicines, including chemotherapy and blood products.

What's the special thing for you? Due to the numerous outpatient and day-clinical stays of the children, you grow closely together with all the bodies of the team. After completion of the therapy, children and their families will celebrate the ritual of “Glocke Läuten”.

They are the first contact person for the patients and are responsible for the entire patient administration. They support diagnostic and therapeutic measures and plan appointments and investigations. In addition, you are responsible for the preparation and preparation of outpatient procedures.
