They take over the responsible technical support of the art collections Chemnitz with the focus in the Karl Schmidt-Rottluff House. With your commitment, you will ensure the safe operation of the buildings and make an important contribution to the protection of works of art and to the execution of exhibitions and events. The task field includes:

• Responsible care of the museums' home and safety facilities including ensuring and monitoring the functioning of building, climate, heating, fire detection, intrusion detection, media and event technology
• Planning, organisation, coordination and monitoring of construction, maintenance and maintenance measures, as well as control and monitoring of external specialist and maintenance firms in cooperation with the relevant specialist offices
• Technical organization and implementation of excavators and disassembles during exhibition changes, including professional support of art transports and careful handling of high-quality works of art
• Technical security of the exhibition and event establishment, as well as support for demanding art installations, especially in the field of new media
• Acceptance of willingness to call (on weekends & public holidays 24h, as well as weekdays from 0.00 o'clock - 07.00 o'clock - 24.00 o'clock) for all museums of the art collections Chemnitz alternating with the technical staff to ensure trouble-free operation

Your profile:

• at least. 3-year completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, building or supply technology (heating, ventilation, sanitary), in facility management or a comparable technical field
• at least one year's professional experience in an activity comparable to the subject
• Driving licence class B with willingness to operate a service vehicle
• German language level C2

Of advantage are:
