In this responsible position, you work as Senior Process Development Engineer/Developing Engineer in Plants & Processes (m/w/d)* at the interface of development, production, quality and product management and drive the further development of our manufacturing and shaping processes. This important key role combines technology, innovation and implementation. You take responsibility for the processes, not only develop new processes and plant concepts, but also ensure that You are successfully transferred to production. This allows you to make a direct contribution to the sustainability of our company in the company network of SCHOTT AG. Your duties Development and optimization of manufacturing and production processes to increase quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness Planning, implementation and evaluation of technical trials and deriving sustainable improvement measures Development and introduction of new technologies, processes and production concepts in the field of glass production Head of development, industrialization and optimization projects from idea to implementation Close cooperation with production, quality, product management and external partners Your profile Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering mechanical engineering, process engineering, physics or a comparable discipline Compulsive multi-year professional experience in process, plant or production development, preferably in the industrial environment of glass or ceramic production Several years of experience in project management and execution Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working together with a high level of implementation, inventiveness and enthusiasm and commitment Very good knowledge of German and English as well as the ability to communicate with all areas at eye level Your Benefit As open as SCHOTT is for your further development, our offer of additional benefits is as extensive.
