Development and maintenance of the overall architecture of complex mechatronic systems with optical, electronic, mechanical and software-related components System holistic support across multiple locations Breakdown of the overall functionality in parts for electronics, mechanics, optics and software Definition and standardization of system specifications and maintenance of these contents in suitable system engineering tools Technical coordination of product development within interdisciplinary project teams Control and maintenance of requirements to determine the scope of development Planning, definition and monitoring of qualifying tests and tests Assessment of development results, support in fault analysis and preparation of technical approvals Coordination and support of internal and external development activities Compilation of skeletons and participation in the creation of offers Technical evaluation and optimization of offers in terms of performance and efficiency Technical coordination with internal and external partners and customers Determination of test concepts, support in building prototypes and monitoring of development and qualification tests Support for the transition to series production and support of products in series operation Further development and harmonisation of methods and processes in the engineering and mechatronics environment

Completed studies (at least Bachelor) in physics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace technology or a comparable discipline Multiannual professional experience in the development of complex technical systems Extensive experience in system engineering and handling requirements Safe handling of suitable SE tools (e.g. Doors, Enterprise Architect or comparable systems) Experience with methods for structured error analysis and sustainable problem solving (e.g. 8D, A3, Six Sigma) Knowledge of common development tools (e.g. CAD and layout tools) of advantage Good knowledge in SAP, especially in document, material and piece list management Experience in cooperation with national and international customers and development partners Understanding production and assembly processes Practice in the application of classic and agile development models (e.g. V-model, agile methods) as well as in the handling of PLM and quality gates Very good German knowledge and good English skills Self-employed, structured working and strong team skills High readiness, resilience and quality awareness
