Senior Specialist Payroll & Operations (m/f/d)

Wages and salary billing: preparation of monthly pay bills in cooperation with our external service providers (Germany and Austria) Data management: care and management of billing-relevant data in our HR system and ensuring data quality Project work: Support for HR and Payroll projects, e.g. for system changes or audits as well as for the integration of new companies by company purchases Contact function: Competent contact person for employees, executives and external bodies (e.g. health insurance companies, authorities) in all accounting questions Process optimization: participation in the further development and optimization of payroll processes and systems Reporting & Analysis: Creation of evaluations, statistics and reports for internal and external stakeholders Compliance: Monitoring and compliance with statutory and operational requirements in the area of payroll, social security and wage tax Cooperation: Close coordination with HR Business Partners, Finance, as well as with our headquarters in Barcelona and external service providers to ensure smooth operations Budget planning: Full support in budget planning process

Qualification: completed commercial training with further training in the area of wage and salary accounting or comparable studies Professional experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in pay billing, ideally in an international company Expertise: Very good knowledge of pay tax and social security law as well as the application of common accounting systems (e.g. ADP, SAP, DATEV, LOGA) Operation: Structured, careful and reliable operation with a hand-on mentality and a high number affinity Communication strength: Friendly and professional appearance as well as pronounced service orientation in dealing with internal and external stakeholders IT-Affinity: Secure handling of MS Office, especially Excel; Experience with digital HR tools of advantage Language knowledge: Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
