Who we are

The Raumerhaus is a therapeutic facility that offers stationary housing groups for children aged 7 and over at various locations. The work in our housing groups carries a family character and the children who come to us should experience for themselves a safe place where they can grow and develop. We work closely with the schools, in particular our own funding centres, because education is a key role for us for social participation. Education and participation, however, mean more for us, namely a holistic promotion of the child. The Rummelsberger Diakonie sees itself as a strong service community. Mutual support, cohesion and diversity are important parts of our own understanding. This will bring you

• A completed training as a social pedagogue/social pedagogue, educator/educator, curative nurse/healing teacher or a comparable qualification
• willingness to work in flexible shiftwork; Your personal concerns will be taken into account if possible
• Team skills, empathy, enforcing ability and mental resilience
• Class B licence
• Detection of personal suitability for the care and supervision of minors (proposal of an extended management certificate according to § 30a para. 2 BZRG)
• For applicants born after 1970, the proof of a complete masculine vaccination or a completed masculine disease (detection)
• Loyality towards church and deacons
