Project Manager Structural Engineering in the Bridge Competence Team

At the closest possible time, we are looking for a total of 3 project leaders:in constructive engineering construction in the bridge competence team (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Essen site. The new and unique bridge competence team is set up and you can contribute to the development of the team and the design of the workflows. In the future, the team will take over the repairs and the new construction of urgent bridge structures throughout NRW. The aim is to simplify existing processes and regulations, to accelerate construction projects and to strategically plan the renewal of bridge structures. Your tasks: As project manager, you are responsible for the quality, budget and timely planning and implementation of complex bridge projects from repair to new construction You control the projects in construction engineering and ensure compliance with costs, appointments, services and quality specifications until the project is completed You will also guide the associated project teams professionally and coordinate resources, priorities and cooperation of interdisciplinary teams You coordinate the coordination with internal and external departments as well as the necessary approval, plan law and interface processes Furthermore, you monitor the progress of the project and are responsible for the reporting, status reports and analysis of costs, dates, services and risks You recognise time, cost and project risks at an early stage and, together with the participants, initiate appropriate counter-control and escalation measures.

Your profile: The basis of your career is a completed technical/university study in the field of civil engineering with the discipline of constructive engineering or a comparable discipline.
