Mitarbeiter Supplier Quality Management (m/f/d)

You serve independently assigned suppliers and product groups with a focus on ensuring supplier quality. In close cooperation with strategic purchasing, you will participate in the selection, qualification and evaluation of suppliers. You continuously evaluate supplier performance, monitor quality and carry out risk analyses. You are responsible for the processing of internal and external supplier complaints using common problem-solving methods (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa) and sustainable measures. You coordinate quality escalation topics, conduct supplier discussions and accompany internal and external appointments. The planning and implementation of process audits at suppliers (e.g. VDA 6.3) is part of your task. As part of supplier development, you identify and implement measures to continuously improve performance. You cooperate in suppliers and internal projects or take over their (partial) management. Close cooperation with relevant departments and regular reporting round off your activity.

You have completed technical university studies, for example in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification. Multi-annual professional experience in the field of supplier quality is the same as a reliable quality understanding along the supply chain. You provide good knowledge in at least one of the following areas: steel construction/welding technology, painting/coating technology, hydraulics, casting technology or electronics. Finding knowledge and practical experience in the application of common quality methods and core tools (e.g. 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, Process-FMEA, PPF/PPAP, APQP, SPC) can be used safely in practice. Multiannual experience in the planning and execution of supplier audits, for example according to VDA 6.3, bring you along; ideally, you have a valid certification as a process auditor according to VDA 6.3. Good knowledge of international regulations and standards, in particular DIN EN ISO 9001 and VDA standards, complete your quality profile. You can handle common IT applications and especially MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, CAQ). The willingness to regular and situational service trips in Germany and abroad as well as very good knowledge of German and English (min. B2 in word and writing) will bring you with you.
