Training as a building materials tester – Geotechnical engineering (m/f/d)

You will learn to examine structural and building materials technology properties of soils, asphalt and concrete in the laboratory as well as at the construction site. You can use different test methods and the safe handling of measuring instruments step by step. In everyday training, you work with different materials and get to know their properties and areas of application. Measuring results will be displayed in a comprehensible manner. Through applications in the laboratory and on construction sites, you will get varied insights into the practice.

You have at least one middle school degree and interest in the subjects chemistry, physics and mathematics. Technical-physical relationships interest you and you can work well into new topics. You like the work outdoors and on construction sites, and you also like to pack up. Craftsmanship as well as a careful way of working distinguish you. Good knowledge of German in word and writing (min. B2 level) allow you to secure communication in the everyday training. A class B driver's license is advantageous, but no need.
