Senior Consultant (m/w/d) at the HPI School of Design Thinking (d-school) in the project ''KriKom-LK-MEI''

The place is limited until September 2027 and must be occupied in full/part time (at least 20 hours/week).

Digital information and training opportunities for crisis communication (KriKom) Crises do not cast shadows - You are suddenly there. Whether flood, power failure, blackout or cyberattack: In exceptional situations, reliable communication - even if the usual channels fail. This is precisely where the research project KriKom-LK-MEI begins. Together with the Cyber Threat Intelligence Lab at HPI (Prof. Dr. Christian Dörr) and other strong partners, we develop a future-oriented, resilient communication system for disaster and population protection in the model project with the Meißen County. This also includes digital information and learning offerings that effectively convey information and knowledge to the population and actors and support the application of the new communication system in an emergency.

As part of this project, we are awarding a scientific team (m/w/d) at the Hasso-Plattner-Institut. Bring your curiosity and expertise in the learning design to create and implement understandable, user-oriented and didactically convincing formats so that we can jointly strengthen Germany's digital resilience.

Your duties

Conception of information and training designs based on openHPI technology or a similar white-label platform Coordination with expert:inside and deriving course content with the project consortium as well as support in the translation of technical content in understandable learning modules Development of a consistent content concept for target group-specific information and learning offers (especially for the population and actors) Design, structuring and editorial creation of content for digital information and learning opportunities Implementation of formats Documentation, evaluation and users:internal development of formats Programme Design and management of target-group-specific formats in academic education and training

Higher Education (Master or Diploma) in Communication, Media, Design, Education or an Area in IT, MINT, Management Knowledge in at least two of the following areas: o Learning Design, ideal for digital formats o Users:inside-centric design of programs o Editorial and Content Strategy for the Processing of Complex Content o Media production, e.g. video, presentation or course materials Ideally experience with learning platforms and MOOCs Experience in the Program Design and/or Management of Education, Innovation or Transfer Formats Design-thinking skills are advantageous Cooperation with interdisciplinary project teams and team skills Embossed conceptual thinking and a very high quality standards of design and implementation Very good knowledge of German in word and writing; good English skills are advantageous
