IT-System Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for IT-System Engineer m/w/d R-KOM is provider of Internet, telephone and TV in East Bavaria and builds the fiber optic network of the future. Every year we develop over 10,000 units in more than 1,000 buildings – a challenging task. You contribute to the further growth and success of R-KOM with your commitment.

You are contact for all topics related to server, storage and virtualization You manage, engage and develop our IT infrastructure continuously You configure, operate and monitor our physical and virtual system landscape You install, operate and develop our Linux server infrastructure You work on network, cloud and security concepts You agree with IT administration and software development

You have knowledge of network and IT infrastructure You have experience with virtualization solutions such as VMware (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere) You bring practice in the administration of Linux systems (e.g. Red Hat Enterprise) You have knowledge of Veeam, Databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and Scripting (e.g. Python) You know modern identity and access management systems (e.g. Keycloak) You are safe to use common authentication methods Experiences in the DevOps environment are advantageous You are willing to participate in rewarded readiness services
