Start your future in the field of social work together with the Children's and Youth Assistance Schloss Hamborn and the IU International University (IU). In dual studies, you combine practical work in the company with courses on two days a week on campus. Interactive teaching materials help you to deepen your knowledge.

Hamborn Castle is an anthroposophical, fully-stationary institution with 15 housing groups. Based on Waldorf education, it offers children, young people and young adults a living and development space with individual support in family-analogous housing, shiftwork groups, an intensive group and day groups.

You accompany children and young people in their daily lives and help them develop their social skills You work together with the residents:inside recreational activities and promote their individual interests You help children and adolescents develop and participate in each individual You work in a solid team, with regular team meetings, senior conferences and supervision

Start your studies at the IU with (special) abitur, a qualified professional degree or as a national. Technicians:in/operator:in You can prove German skills according to language level B2 You bring interest in working with children and adolescents, so you can actively contribute to our housing groups You are willing to take responsibility and engage in the welfare of young people You have a high social competence so that you can deal empathically and respectfully with the inhabitants: You are open and interested in Waldorf Education You have your own mobility so you can easily reach the rural facility Career prospects: If you have successfully passed the final exam, you have the opportunity to take over with numerous development possibilities.
