Place of work: Frankfurt am Main Occupation: Full-time (generally part-time) Job ID: 2025_0280_02 The Department “Statistical Information Management, Mathematic Methods” is responsible for the development, use and maintenance of IT-supported processes, mathematical-statistic methods and services for the central area “Data and Statistics” and other central areas of the Deutsche Bundesbank.

They take over the leadership of a qualified software development team consisting of ten employees and take care of their further development. They assume product responsibility and control and coordinate the technical development and technological renewal of the statistical time series information system. You are responsible for the technical and technical design of the products and processes including the requirements engineering and the design of the application architectures. They ensure compliance with quality standards, timeline and efficiency. At your work, you agree closely with users, IT and other stakeholders and represent the work area in internal and external working groups.

Outstanding leadership competence Master's or equivalent degree of computer science or a comparable discipline Multiannual professional experience in managing IT projects and in project, stakeholder and requirement management Very good knowledge and practical experience in application development with Microsoft .NET as well as with web services and relational databases Knowledge of cloud technologies, time series systems and SDMX are advantageous Representative leadership competencies combined with very good analytical and conceptual skills and high commitment Impressive capacity for persuasion and negotiation Very good expressiveness in German and English
