We set new standards in the field of automotive engineering and the digitization of quality control. We develop models for machine learning, implement the latest AI technologies and are the architects of quality assurance for our entire business. With our digital projects, we create a measurable added value by means of data-driven decision-making and thus achieve both a facilitation of the work of our colleagues and a more significant potential for our company. You are responsible for the development and use of eXplainable AI models and interfaces, for obtaining a more intuitive human AI interaction and driving innovations within our artificial intelligence company, as well as their integration into existing systems and processes. For this role you bring a distinct understanding of the basics and principles of artificial intelligence and machine learning as well as a passion for the development of generic AI models. Experiences with a variety of different programming languages and frameworks such as Python, PyTorch and TensorFlow complete your image. As an intern in the Human Centric AI area, you can expect the following exciting tasks: Working with the development and implementation of explanatory post-hoc-KI models for computer vision models Explore and benchmark XAI algorithms for vision lane models Explore the potential of large language models for concept based XAI

The internship can start from January 2026.

Ideally, you will bring: Computer Science, Software Development, or Similar Areas Ideally with the Focus on Artificial Intelligence Controlling the programming language Python and Jupyter Notebook (C# identifiers are advantageous) Knowledge and experience in training and development of AI projects with PyTorch or TensorFlow Curiosity and urge to explore technological innovations in the AI environment Embossed understanding of the principles of machine vision German and English knowledge in word and writing Advantages of eXplainable AI Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
